I started sewing many years ago out of necessity. I had a
large family and sewing was the answer to dressing my children
in style and economically. I took a class every winter from
lingerie to upholstery. It was my "night out with the girls."
I have taken seminars with Martha Pullen for heirloom sewing
which is my favorite type of sewing. I like embroidery, lace,
pin tucks, puffing.
My specialty is baby quilts which are a combination of heirloom
designs and embroidery with lace borders and background of
light pink, blue, yellow, green or beige. Size is approximately
50"x45" with the center square showcasing the baby's name,
date of birth, weight. (Click here
to see baby quilt examples.)
I also sew Christening gowns using cotton latiste, dupioni
silk, or if you are sentimental, from your wedding dress.(Click
here to see examples.) If you are interested in a christening
gown, please contact me at 920-868-1583
to discuss your wishes and pricing.
